20% off my VERY favorite planner (2016-2017 version) through March 31!
The Well-Planned Day is my absolute FAVORITE daily planner, and it’s on sale right now for 20% off! A few years ago I ditched my electronic planners and decided to go back to a paper planner, and it has been SO much better!
This is the specific planner I use; it runs from Summer 2016 – Summer 2017, and while it’s specifically targeted at full-time homeschooling parents, it would work well for afterschoolers or really anyone who has kids and needs to keep track of all their activities. Because, let-s be honest, if you’re a parent then you’re at least a part-time homeschooler! Planners are on sale for 20% off through March 31. You can actually take a look through the pages when you visit the website here.
You can also try the 2015-2016 school year planner for 50% off here, which would be a great way to see if you like the style of this planner.

FREE performance of the opera “Hansel and Gretel” Jan 16
On Saturday, January 16 at 11 a.m. at the Blount County Public Library the opera “Hansel and Gretel” will be performed by the Knoxville Opera Company. Parents and teachers are encouraged to bring children/students to enjoy this fairy tale brought to life in song and dramatic action. This will be the full performance, not a shortened version, so this would be a great FREE opportunity to see an opera! The performance will be at the Reading Rotunda end of the Main Gallery of the library. Go here for more info.
