Amazon Student: fantastic deal for anyone enrolled in school

April 23, 2013

In researching my last post, I was reminded about what a great deal the Amazon Student program is. You must have a .edu email address to sign up. Once you do, you’ll get 6 months of Amazon Prime for FREE (and you can cancel easily after that time, but you might want to extend your membership…see below). Prime benefits include free 2-day shipping on most items, 20% off when you subscribe to 5 or more Subscribe & Save items, and our favorite, free streaming of lots of TV shows and movies.

Another great benefit is that after your 6-month free trial, you can extend your membership for $39/year for four years. In contrast, us non-students pay $79/year.

If you’re a student, you can go here to sign up.
