Disney on Ice Giveaway Number Three: enter to win a set of four tickets to see Disney on Ice

September 21, 2012

Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy is coming October 17-21 to the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Are you getting excited?

Don’t forget, tickets for opening night on October 17 are just $14! (excludes rinkside and VIP)

Also, there is a special show on Friday morning, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. That week is Fall Break for Knox County, so you might enjoy taking your kids to a Disney on Ice show as part of a fun stay-cation week!

Here’s the entire show schedule:

October 17 at 7 p.m.

October 18 at 7 p.m.

October 19 at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

October 20 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m.

October 21 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

If you’d like to go ahead and order tickets without waiting on a giveaway, you can use the discount code MOM5 for $5 off the $25 and $17 tickets (valid for all Thurs – Sun performances.) You can also purchase rinkside tickets for $45 and VIP tickets for $35.

Here’s some additional info on this year’s show:

Audiences will be amazed by the life-sized Cars characters Mater, Lightning McQueen, Sally, Flo and Ramone speeding and zooming around the frozen highway. While on a road trip from Radiator Springs, the Cars characters try to re-energize Mickey Mouses cherry red roadster that breaks down. The coolest cars on the ice, with working eyes, zip around the rink to a favorite tune from the Disney/Pixar hit movie.

Audiences dive to an enchanted world hidden deep below the waters surface in The Little Mermaid as Ariel falls in love with Prince Eric and trades her beautiful voice for human legs! Along with friends Flounder and Sebastian and a host of colorful sea creatures, Ariel has a party under the sea and finds true love.

The Lion King will take audiences on an adventure in the African Pride Lands with the guidance of the wise Rafiki and help from best friends Timon and Pumbaa. After a run-in with his evil uncle Scar, Simba adopts the motto of Hakuna Matata and goes on to regain his role as king with faithful Nala.

Springtime comes to life on the ice with an explosion of color in Tinker Bell. Everyones favorite fairy and all of her new Pixie Hollow friends tinker and flutter about preparing to bring spring to the mainland. Vidia, the fast-flying fairy, throws Tink off track, but with a little bit of pixie dust and a lot tinker magic, Tinker Bell, Iridessa, Silvermist, Rosetta and Fawn get the job done!

The lovely folks at Feld Entertainment are allowing me to give some passes away to you! These passes must be exchanged for tickets at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum box office, and are good for all reserved seating tickets except for front row and VIP tickets.

This giveaway will be structured a little differently than last year’s, at the request of the Disney on Ice folks. I’m giving away a set of four passes on five different occasions during five different weeks. There are two giveaways left after this one, and I’ll keep you posted on when they will happen.

Here’s how to win the set of four passes for this week. I’m using Rafflecopter for the giveaway this time, which is new to me. Let me know if you like it, or if you’d rather just enter a giveaway by leaving comments. (Which may be easier to do on your phone.)
