Giveaway: One Gallon of Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil, $75 value!

May 14, 2012

Gold Label Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website here: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also read my previous review of their coconut oil here.

Here’s the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:
.

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not allow the discussion of the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

Tropical Traditions is giving one Thrifty Christy reader one gallon of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil! This would normally retail for $120 – but is on sale right now for $75 (in case you’re not the winner and want to purchase some for yourself!)

Here’s how to enter to win:

Required Entry:

Sign up for the Tropical Traditions email newsletter for early notice of their deals and specials. Then leave a comment below letting me know you’ve done so! That’s it! If you’re reading this on Facebook/Twitter hop on over to thriftychristy.com.

Additional Optional Entries:

You can do each of the following things for an additional entry in the giveaway. You can only do each of these once, for a possible total of 9 entries. Please leave a separate comment for each method of entry.

This giveaway ends at midnight EST on Thursday May 24. I will choose a winner on Friday May 25 using random.org and will contact them via email. Giveaway will be fulfilled by Tropical Traditions and is open to U.S. and Canadian residents only.

Also, if you place an order from Tropical Traditions by clicking on any of referral links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you. I received the book with my first order and it’s very interesting!

I make some great granola using coconut oil (and shredded coconut). I have also used it to make healing salves that are infused with herbs. Coconut oil is good stuff, my girls always beg to have a spoonful plain when I have it out. : )

I’ve been using organic coconut oil for a few years now, but recently was able to start using Tropical Traditions brand. I’m in love! I use it for dry and/or oily skin, in cooking and baking, and anything else I read that it’s good for. I want to try all the uses. 🙂

I do use coconut oil for so many things in cooking, baking and for my skin. My husband and I both enjoy the many benefits of using such a healthy oil and would love to win the gallon of Tropical Traditions coconut oil. I do receive their newsletter and use some of their products. They are an absolutely wonderful company.

I watched the video above, finding it so interesting with the whole process of coconut oil making and seeing the region where it’s produced.

I just started using coconut oil about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I do see improvement in the softness of my skin. I use it as a face moisturizer and it is helping to shrink some of my pores (I have bumps under my eyes that my dermatologist says is sweat glands. She told me there was no way to get rid of them (obviously) and moisterizer “may” help. the coconut oil has reduced their appearance by about 50%) I also take as a supliment 1tbsp 1- 3 times daily before meals and it surpresses my appitite and has severly reduced my carb cravings and sweet tooth.
