Free shipping plus $10 credit to Vitacost = cheap groceries, vitamins, etc.

I’ve mentioned Vitacost before but thought I’d bring it up again because of the above free shipping offer. Vitacost is an online grocery store that has lots of natural and organic items, plus vitamins and supplements. When you sign up for their emails here you’ll get a free $10 credit, and when you purchase $25 in Vitacost brand products (their store brand) by May 5 you’ll get free shipping.

I purchase my coconut oil from Vitacost. You can get a huge vat for $21, so $11 after the credit. Coconut oil is really good for your skin and for digestion. I also like to slather one piece of bread with coconut oil and one with Nutella and put them together for a “candy bar” sandwich. It is SO good.

You’ll need a filler item, maybe a couple of these bottles of Apple Cider Vinegar for $2?

You can use the credit to get a deal on K-Cups too, and they’ll ship free if you’ve already purchased $25 in Vitacost items!

Thanks to the ladies of Fountain City UMC MOPS!

Thank you to the MOPS group at Fountain City United Methodist Church for having me speak about couponing at their meeting last night! I enjoyed getting to meet everyone!

Also, a huge thanks to them for giving a donation to my friend Hannah Sterling (who’s a missionary working with Baptists 4 Haiti). Thank you for contributing to the fantastic work she’s doing there!

Just a reminder that you can all follow Hannah’s work on her blog, Where He Leads, and if you’re feeling moved to give to support her work in Haiti you can send checks attention to her at the following address to be deposited in a bank stateside that she can access in Haiti.

She’s at:

Hannah Sterling

P.O. Box 4878

Maryville, TN 37802

Or if you would like to receive a tax-deductible receipt from Baptists 4 Haiti you can send your donation through them (make sure to put her name in the memo line) to:

Baptists 4 Haiti Inc.

102 West Weed Street

St. Marys, GA 31558

You can also support her missionary work by purchasing her jewelry at The Paper Bag Boutique.

Free toothpaste again this week at CVS

Just FYI, this is another week that proves that with the deals our local drugstores offer, you should never pay for toothpaste!

Here’s the current deal at CVS:

Purchase Colgate Total, 4-4.2oz, MaxFresh, MaxClean, 6oz, or 2-in-1 Toothpaste, 4.6oz (limit 2) at $2.99, get $2 ECBs

Use $1/1 Colgate coupon from this Sunday’s SS (4/15 SS)

Plus, use $1/1 Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste, exp. 5/30/12 (CVS Reinventing Beauty, Spring) (or I had an old store coupon that printed from the magic coupon machine)

Pay $0.99, get $2 in ECBs, which makes it a $1.01 MM!

Rent Dolphin Tale from Amazon for $0.99, today only

The movie Dolphin Tale comes highly recommended by the mommies in my daughter’s ballet class. We haven’t seen it yet, but when I saw it was Amazon’s daily rental deal I went ahead and purchased it. The way Amazon rentals work is this: you have a month to begin watching your movie (so by May 12) and once you begin it you have 48 hours to finish it.

Go here to rent Dolphin Tale for $0.99, today only.

Gorgeous bird’s nest necklaces just $15-18 from The Paper Bag Boutique; plus support mission work in Haiti!

Need a great Mother’s Day present? Here’s what I just purchased! (Mom, stop reading this now :))
My friend Hannah has beautiful handmade Bird’s Nest Necklaces for just $14 – $18 each on sale at her online jewelry store called The Paper Bag Boutique. I got one for my mom and my mother-in-law. I also purchased one for myself (the one with turquoise eggs), and I just love it. The best part is that Hannah is a missionary who serves in Haiti, and all the proceeds go to support her mission work. So by purchasing a necklace from her you get an amazing gift AND you support Hannah as she works with sweet orphans in Haiti. You can’t beat it.

Browse the entire collection at The Paper Bag Boutique and order before April 30th to ensure delivery by Mother’s Day.
