Here’s a fun free ebook that will show all of you creative types how to make really fun Easter eggs, plus egg recipes too!

Some of the content, as an example:

How to Naturally Dye Easter Eggs (p.5) With these instructions you can color Easter eggs using your very own, homemade Easter egg dye! Just pop by the grocery store to pick up what you need and, afterwards, you can eat what you didn’t use.

Natural Dye Easter Egg Tutorial (p. 6) Build on what you just learned in the previous project and try some new Easter egg designs! These pretty flower prints make the eggs subtly beautiful and a perfect decoration for any table or Easter basket.

Wild Misted Easter Eggs (p. 8) If you love the look of brightly-colored, box-dyed eggs, try this cute Easter egg pattern. You can draw on any Easter egg designs you want. It’ll add a fun spin to those monotone eggs.

Here’s another fun free book for your Kindle or Kindle reading app: Death by a Honeybee, by Abigail Keam. This is a savings of $15 from the print price!

“Josiah Reynolds is a beekeeper trying to stay financially afloat by selling honey at the Farmers’ Market. She finds her world turned upside down when a man is found dead in her beeyard, only to discover that the victim is her nemesis.”

Remember, you don’t have to have a Kindle to read these books; I read them on my phone. Always check the price before getting free Kindle books, as Amazon can change their prices at any time.

Donate bras by March 29 to help fight human trafficking

I’ve posted about the wonderful organization Free the Girls before; now there is another local opportunity to help out.

From Fairview United Methodist Church:

“As you know sometime back we collected gently used bras for Free the Girls.  This organization has now been featured on CNN  (check the organization out at The bras will be shipped to Mozambique and will go toward helping women who are coming out of human trafficking!
Recently LR International has donated shipping of this first round of bras!  This is huge!!!!  Right now we have about 6,000 ready to go and since the shipping is FREE we want to collect as many as possible.  If you can there are 2 ways you might help:
1.    Bring any gently used bras to Roxanna at the Fairview UMC office by Thurs. March 29. Fairview is located at 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road.
2.    If you can help pack and sort, volunteers are needed to count and pack on March 29 at 7 pm at Broadway UMC.  If we have enough people, it should only take about an hour.
Once this shipment goes out we will continue to collect bras but what an opportunity God has given us RIGHT NOW with this free shipping!  Help us make a difference!
If you have questions – give me a call or send an email:  Roxanna 983-2080 ext. 106 or”

Thanks, Renee, for sharing!

Here’s more info on the organization:
Can the old bras in the back of your underwear drawer help fight modern-day slavery? Free The Girls says, “YES!” Free The Girls, a new cause-focused company centered around fighting human trafficking, is asking ladies to gather up their gently used bras—and ask friends, family, co-workers and local businesses to do the same.

You can also mail your bras directly to:
Free The Girls LLC
8200 S. Quebec St. #A3-137
Centennial, CO 80112

More Info:

“The bras are sent directly to a safehouse in Mozambique for women who have been rescued out of slavery,” says Kimba Langas, Co-Founder of Free The Girls. “The girls are given the bras as starting inventory for their own micro-business selling the bras. So something that has given us “support” can provide support to other women in need. It’s all about creating opportunities.”

For more information, visit or find them on Facebook.
