Free admission weekend at the Knoxville Zoo November 12 – 13

I was flipping through my Knoxville Zoo magazine and noticed that they’re having a free admission weekend November 12 – 13 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day. (Last entry is at 3:30 each day.) Parking is free too! The weekend is sponsored by Kroger, and visitors are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items, hygiene items, pet food, or blankets and toys for pets. A number of charitable organizations will be on hand to receive donated items.
If you’re a zoo member, I’d suggest NOT going this weekend as it will be very crowded!
