New drop-off locations in Maryville for donating items to Haven House and Heaven Sent Home

If you’re like me, you often get free or inexpensive items through couponing that you’d like to donate to those who are in need. Until now I would simply drop all my items off at the Community Food Connection, which is still a great place to donate items. However, I am happy to tell you that my friend Landra has now set up donation locations for two other nonprofits in Maryville.

Haven House is our domestic violence/women’s shelter in Maryville. Since it is a safe house, its location is secret, which makes sense, but it also makes it hard to bring items by! Now, you can drop items off for Haven House at bebe Salon, which is located at 1714 W. Broadway in Maryville, next to Bella Roma pizza. Here’s a list of some suggested items to donate to Haven House.

Many people also are unaware that we have a homeless shelter in Maryville, called Heaven Sent Home, which is located at 2405 E. Broadway (aka Old Knoxville Pike). As of today, you can drop items off for Heaven Sent Home at Richy Creme Dougnhuts, which is located at 2601 E. Broadway in Maryville. Also, there is a rummage sale today until 5 p.m. to benefit Heaven Sent Home. Here’s the info.
